Brookside Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 300-unit apartment community in Louisville, KY.

What We’re Looking For

• A high school diploma or GED
• Previous multifamily/apartment maintenance experience preferred
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, or general maintenance experience
• EPA Certification preferred (not required)
• CPO Certification preferred (not required) for pool maintenance
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls/on-call rotation
• Basic hand tools and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Key Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner
• Perform unit turns and prepare apartments for new residents
• Maintain building systems, common areas, and grounds
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance issues
• Respond to emergency maintenance needs, including after-hours calls
• Support property safety standards, inspections, and compliance requirements
• Aid in maintaining inventory and maintenance supplies
