Overview
The Maintenance Technician position is open within the apartment community where a “one-size-fits-all” approach isn’t suitable. This role requires a skilled individual who excels in problem-solving and providing exceptional customer service.
Skilled Requirements
- Repairs and cleans HVAC systems
- Replaces and installs plumbing fixtures and components
- Performs carpentry tasks such as repairing and installing doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
- Paints drywall/plaster repairs and performs painting tasks
- Repairs and maintains electrical and appliance systems including lighting, wiring, power circuits, and replacing switches, lamps, etc.
- Maintains machinery such as chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property
- A High School Diploma/GED is required, but 3-4 years of experience can offset this requirement
- Prior certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing are preferred
- Valid driver's license may be required depending on property needs
- Must have computer and smartphone literacy
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- May be required to work weekends - Saturday and Sunday
