Maintenance Technician
About the role
The Maintenance Technician position within the apartment community is ideal for a skilled professional who excels in problem-solving and enjoys working in a team environment. This role encompasses a variety of tasks including HVAC repairs, plumbing installations, carpentry work, painting, electrical/appliance maintenance, and machinery repair.
Responsibilities
- Repairs and cleans HVAC systems
- Replaces and installs plumbing fixtures and appliances
- Performs carpentry tasks such as repairing and installing doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
- Carries out drywall/plaster repairs and painting tasks
- Assists with electrical and appliance maintenance
- Maintains and repairs machinery such as chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc.
- Provides exceptional customer service
- May be required to work weekends - Saturdays and Sundays
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of experience in commercial property or multi-unit residential property
- A high school diploma or GED
- Preferred certifications in HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing
- A valid driver's license may be required based on property needs
- Self-motivated, team-player, strong communication, interpersonal, attention to detail, customer service, and personal accountability skills
- Computer and smartphone literacy required
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- Multilingual skills are a plus

Pay
$21.86 - $30.60 hourly with great incentives.
Schedule
May be required to work weekends - Saturdays and Sundays.
