Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities
- Repairs, cleans, replaces HVAC systems
- Repairs, replaces parts, installs plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, etc.
- Repairs and installs carpentry items like doors, shelves, countertops, locks, etc.
- Performs drywall/plaster repairs and painting
- Replaces lighting, wiring, power circuits, and replaces switches, lamps, etc. in electrical/appliance areas
- Maintains chillers, belts, pumps, fans, etc. in machinery
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1-2 years of required experience in Commercial Property or Multi-Unit Residential Property
- Preferred certifications for this position include HVAC (depending on property), Electrical, or Plumbing
- May be required to work weekends - Saturday and Sunday
- Computer and smart phone literacy required
- Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, for all work-related responsibilities
- Multilingual skills are a plus
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3-4 years of experience can offset minimum educational requirements for this position
- Self-motivated, team-player, communication, interpersonal, attention to detail, customer service, and personal accountability
