Job Responsibilities
- Perform annual boiler inspections and conduct routine monthly maintenance visits.
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, multimeters, and other diagnostic equipment.
- Work effectively in varying environments, including hot, cold, dusty, confined, and elevated spaces.
- Identify and report equipment issues or concerns during site visits.
- Accurately complete and submit required job documentation, including detailed notes, time logs, and photo records.
- Carry out additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Skilled in identifying and using hand tools, power tools, and multimeters.
- Comfortable working in demanding environments (extreme temperatures, confined areas, heights).
- Prior experience with industrial steam boilers, hydronic boilers, or HVAC systems preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with electrical systems up to 480V is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow established procedures.
- Basic computer skills; knowledge of computer-operated boiler controls is beneficial but not mandatory.
Physical & Personal Job Requirements
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs from floor to waist and overhead.
- Capable of safely climbing and working from ladders, forklifts, and scissor lifts.
- Able to stand and remain active for 6+ hours per day.
- Comfortable working in a variety of conditions, including hot and cold environments.
- Must successfully pass a drug test and background check.
- Organized, efficient, and adaptable to changing priorities.
- Able to work independently with consistent, reliable attendance.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Problem-solving mindset with a positive, “can-do” attitude.
