Pay
$23 – $27 / hour
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (On-call as needed)

Responsibilities
- Performs general maintenance duties, such as: fixing wall covers, floor covers and some furniture and fixtures; light plumbing work, minor electrical repair, and appliance repairs.
- Performs painting and refurbishing projects, as directed by supervisor.
- Performs routine preventive maintenance, as directed by supervisor.
- Performs minor building and equipment repairs.
- Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor.
- Assists with snow removal efforts during the winter.
- Does routine maintenance on all vehicles when assigned.
- Maintains all tools, equipment and supplies in proper condition.
- When qualified, assists the Director of Plant and/or performs work on the heating and air conditioning systems, domestic water systems, refrigeration systems, pumps, motors, fans, electrical systems and emergency generators.
- Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
- Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements
- High school education.
- Technical schooling and/or background preferred.
- Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic.
- All new hires must pass our preemployment screening process, which includes a fitness for duty physical, criminal background check, drug test, and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.
- Some roles require disclosure of vaccination status.
