Key Responsibilities
- Maintain continuous operation of production equipment within a cleanroom setting by troubleshooting issues, performing repairs or parts replacements, and making necessary adjustments.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on various production equipment and assembly stations to prevent downtime.
- Afford to create or update preventative maintenance procedures.
- Foster open and effective communication with operators and engineering staff regarding equipment functionality and maintenance needs.
- Collaborate actively with the engineering team to troubleshoot equipment/process issues and integrate solutions.
- Participate in validation of equipment modifications and testing in the production environment.
- Train new or existing personnel in set-up, operation and troubleshooting equipment.
- Be prepared to gather and show records of maintenance events during audits.
- Afford to assist with maintenance of the building and facility equipment as necessary.
Required Skills
- Proven mechanical skills with a strong emphasis on hands-on experience.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities combined with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing modern electrical and mechanical systems.
- Solid foundation in general math and science principles.
- Knowledge of GMP and ISO regulations are preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
- Experience with automation and assembly technologies such as pneumatics, vacuum systems, motors, actuators, and fixtures.
- Must be capable of working effectively in a team environment with co-workers.
Desired Skills
- Familiarity with LabVIEW, Beckhoff and PLC control systems is advantageous.
- Understanding manufacturing processes, including machining, molding, and material properties.
Physical Demands
- This role requires working in normal production environments, including Bio-Labs and Clean Rooms.
- Ability to lift and manage packages weighing up to 35 lbs.
Pay
Pay Range $25.60 - $35.20
Schedule
The position may require occasional extended hours and occasional weekend coverage.
