Maintenance Technician

About the Role

As a Maintenance Technician at Azura Memory Care in Brookfield, WI, you will keep the facility safe, comfortable, and welcoming for residents with memory challenges. You will be the backbone of the community, handling routine upkeep, repairs, and minor renovations to support both residents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical repairs, HVAC checks, and equipment upkeep to maintain a hazard‑free environment.
• Respond promptly to repair requests, from fixing leaky faucets to troubleshooting heating issues.
• Assist with room setups, furniture assembly, and minor renovations to keep spaces functional and inviting.
• Conduct regular inspections, manage inventory of supplies, and recommend improvements to keep the community in top shape.

Qualifications

• Experience in general maintenance (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, or HVAC); formal training or certification is a plus but not required.
• Dependable problem‑solver who takes pride in a job well done.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with staff to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced setting.
• Physical ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and handle tools safely.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations; experience in healthcare settings is a bonus.
