Maintenance Technician

Essential Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair all production-related equipment, including processing and packaging machinery, warehouse cranes, and fork trucks.
• Operate and maintain WWPT systems and facility equipment under the guidance of the Facility Engineer crew.
• Document work completed and maintain shop part inventories.
• Aid in training fellow technicians and production team members to enhance workforce effectiveness.

Other Required Responsibilities

• Assist with facility systems such as ammonia, refrigeration, boilers, and wastewater management.
• Handle electronics and liquid pumps, including troubleshooting and replacing seals/motors.
• Work with SERVO systems, intelligent motors, encoders, and other robotic components.
• Participate in sanitary welding tasks, particularly TIG and MIG welding.
• Collaborate with other maintenance technicians to address repairs and perform routine maintenance.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and identify areas for improvement in personal skill sets.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly stand, sit, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl around equipment.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• Work in varying temperature conditions, often in wet and/or humid environments.
• Work in noisy conditions requiring hearing protection.
• Work at heights (fall protection) and use safety devices.
• Work nights and weekends or provide coverage for other shifts as needed.
