Responsibilities
- Work in a supportive environment promoting advancement opportunities and a healthy work-life balance.
- Perform duties associated with a Maintenance Technician, including diagnosing and repairing problems in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances, carpentry, emergency systems, flooring, hardware accessories, masonry, painting/wallpaper, water features, and waste management systems.
- Complete assigned service requests and repairs, ensuring vacant apartment homes are rent-ready in a timely manner.
- Maintain customer service standards, responding to resident requests and working with residents to resolve issues and complaints.
- Follow through to ensure issues are resolved.
- Apply all applicable Atria Policies and Procedures, including company operating and safety standards.
- Promote safe work practices among on-site staff.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws, particularly Fair Housing regulations, building codes, and environmental laws and regulations.
- Organize and prioritize service requests and general maintenance tasks.
- Drive company vehicle from community to social and other destinations (if required).
- Supervise the work of other associates and outside contractors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
- One year experience in property management maintenance.
- Basic arithmetic skills for calculations and analysis.
- Ability to operate general office equipment and maintain general maintenance tools, supplies, and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and compliance with Atria's motor vehicle policy standards.
Qualifications

- One year experience in property management maintenance.
