Maintenance Technician
Job Summary

Job Responsibilities
- Inspect machinery, equipment, and systems to identify issues and ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently.
- This includes conducting routine inspections, checking for leaks, and testing equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to keep equipment in good working condition and prevent breakdowns.
- Accurately diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment and systems, using diagnostic tools and their own expertise.
- Perform repairs or replace parts as necessary.
- Work with both electrical and mechanical systems within the facility.
- Respond to emergency repair requests to address urgent issues and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including work orders, equipment manuals, and inventory.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and other departments to coordinate work, share information, and address issues.
- May be required to be on-call.
- Regular attendance, timeliness, and scheduling flexibility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Vocational or technical training certificate or associate's degree in related field a plus.
- At least 2 year of experience in a relevant field.
- Must be able to follow safety protocols and adhere to company safety standards.
- Must have technical expertise of mechanical and electrical systems, problem-solving ability, manual dexterity, attention to detail, and communication skills.
- Ability to diagnose issues with equipment and systems by using diagnostic tools, observing symptoms, and testing components.
- Skilled in the use of a wide range of hand and power tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, impact wrenches, and pneumatic tools.
- Ability to work effectively in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
