General Schedule
- 4 Hour Shifts / M-F Availability for After-Hours Emergency calls; required
Maintenance Technician Position Duties & Responsibilities
- Safety First - Maintain safe work areas that are free of hazards
- Provide prompt response and follow up to all member maintenance requests
- Use of systems-based software to track and maintain a record of progress on maintenance requests
- Precision attention to detail and organization towards site specific maintenance plan
- Develop and maintain an efficient preventive maintenance schedule for a variety of Cooperative equipment and systems (Example: HVAC equipment, smoke and CO detectors)
- Complete weekly inspections of the common areas and equipment, annual building inspections
- Remove and dispose of trash and recycling according to the community's recycling programs
- Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and reorder as needed by talking to your Direct Supervisor
- Other duties, as assigned by AAPG
Seasonal and Other Duties & Responsibilities
- Available to respond to Emergency/After-Hour Calls; on occasion
- Aid with shoveling snow or applying ice melt in main walkways
- Rotation of dumpsters or removal of trash, debris, and other recycling
