Maintenance Technician

As a Maintenance Technician at our new, state-of-the-art Charlotte Distribution Center (opening February 2027), you're the "go-to" for keeping facilities and equipment in safe working order. You will perform a variety of technical maintenance and service functions on equipment, systems, and facilities, and spearhead equipment moves and new equipment installations. Responsibilities

• Conduct good housekeeping practices, including 5S principles
• Support Operations by working in a safe, customer-focused manner
• Assist with building and site start-up as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Continuous (67%–100%): Lift up to 35 lbs (including overhead), carry up to 35 lbs, grip up to 35 lbs, push/pull up to 20 lbs, bending/stooping/reaching, standing/walking
• Frequent (34%–66%): Overhead reaching, stair climbing and working at platform heights up to 75 ft
• Occasional (1%–33%): Lift 36–50 lbs, carry 36–50 lbs, push up to 40 lbs, awkward posture to access machines with 19" clearance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Mechanical trade experience (a plus)
• Basic knowledge of industrial (distribution) maintenance; corrective/breakdown experience
• Ability to follow instructions and set safety procedures/guidelines
• Self-motivated, responsible, safety-oriented individual with time management skills
• Must earn and maintain Powered Industrial Truck operator certification and Yard Truck certification
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, including in inclement weather
• Knowledge, understanding, and maintenance of First Aid/CPR and AED certification
• Basic knowledge of hand tools, powered hand tools, and electrical test and measurement equipment
• Ability to understand and follow established SOPs
• Fabrication/welding experience (a plus)
• Flexibility to work all days and shifts, including overtime on request
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (a plus)
• Basic knowledge of Google Suite (a plus)
