Maintenance Technician
About the role
The Maintenance Technician performs preventative and specialized maintenance in an automated laundry facility, ensuring compliance with regulations and policies. They collaborate with various plant personnel to enhance equipment performance and adhere to safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Use a computerized Preventive Maintenance (PM) program to document repairs and respond to equipment failures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment, focusing on automation and control systems.
- Maintain compliance with operational, safety, and environmental requirements through safety training, documentation, wastewater compliance, and maintenance records.
- Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and infrastructure to maximize reliability and minimize downtime.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent, with additional training in plumbing, electrical, steam, controls, PLC, welding, and mechanical systems preferred.
- At least 2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Specific skills and competencies include electric schematics, low voltage troubleshooting, controls, steam/boiler operation, hydraulics, pneumatics, and safety compliance.
- Specialized knowledge and licenses such as a boiler operator license (some states), wastewater certification (some states), and computerized preventative maintenance systems.
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.

Hourly rate: $24.00 to $28.00
