Responsibilities
- Performs scheduled preventive maintenance procedures.
- Fabricates equipment components, workstations and fixtures.
- Modifies equipment to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
- Responds as needed to emergency situations outside of regularly scheduled hours.
- Basic electrical troubleshooting.
- Able to perform all small maintenance tasks.
- Has general knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry, motor controls, and conveyor systems.
- Rebuilds air valves and air cylinders.
- Repairs air compressors, air guns, and tools.
- Works on hydraulic equipment and demonstrates troubleshooting skills.
- Thoroughly understands electrical problems and can install electrical piping and wiring.
- Uses various testing and measuring equipment such as Meggers, Scope, Multi Meters, Circuit Tracers, and Laser Temperature Probes.
- Demonstrates knowledge of electrical installations and theory.
- Welds using a Mig Welder.
- Preferred experience with PLCs.
- Performs other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
