Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled preventive maintenance procedures.
• Fabricates equipment components, workstations and fixtures.
• Modifies equipment to enhance quality, efficiency, and safety.
• Responds as needed to emergency situations outside of regularly scheduled hours.
• Basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Able to perform all small maintenance tasks.
• Has general knowledge of plumbing, painting, carpentry, motor controls, and conveyor systems.
• Rebuilds air valves and air cylinders.
• Repairs air compressors, air guns, and tools.
• Works on hydraulic equipment and demonstrates troubleshooting skills.
• Thoroughly understands electrical problems and can install electrical piping and wiring.
• Uses various testing and measuring equipment such as Meggers, Scope, Multi Meters, Circuit Tracers, and Laser Temperature Probes.
• Demonstrates knowledge of electrical installations and theory.
• Welds using a Mig Welder.
• Preferred experience with PLCs.
• Performs other duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
