About the Role
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day maintenance operations of the community while providing exceptional customer service to residents and team members.
Responsibilities
- Complete resident service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Perform apartment make-readies and unit turns
- Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance, and general maintenance issues
- Assist with pool maintenance and upkeep
- Work closely with the Lead Maintenance Technician on assigned projects and preventative maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning community
- Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency maintenance requests
- Properly use and maintain personal tools and company equipment
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies
- Deliver outstanding customer service to residents and coworkers
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of apartment maintenance experience in the multifamily industry REQUIRED
- Valid HVAC Certification or HVAC License REQUIRED
- Experience with plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, pools, and general maintenance
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
- Personal set of basic hand tools
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule
- Candidates must live within a 20-mile radius of the property or be willing to relocate.
