Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and machinery.
• Perform routine tasks like replacing light bulbs, lubricating parts, and changing HVAC filters to prevent costly downtime.
• Address immediate maintenance requests.
• This often involves being on-call for after-hours or weekend emergencies depending on the facility.
• Track completed work orders using Maintenance Management System.
• Monitor supply inventory and order replacement parts as needed.
• Repairing broken or leaking plumbing to avoid water damage and restore full use of water fixtures
• Repairing damaged electrical wiring caused by shorts or severed lines
