Maintenance Technician - Aspen Lakes & Wyndham Hill Apartments

About the role

Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join the team at Aspen Lakes Apartments & Wyndham Hill Apartments in Grand Rapids, MI. These communities have 250 and 192 units respectively.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making any necessary repairs
• Complete work orders in occupied homes while providing fast, friendly service
• Follow preventive maintenance guidelines
• Maintain property grounds
• Handle HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance and all other service requests
• Work collaboratively to achieve property goals
• Adhere to safety procedures

Qualifications

• Hard worker with strong customer service skills
• 1-2 years of facilities maintenance experience required
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills
• Experience with pools preferred
• EPA Certification highly preferred, to be obtained within 90 days of employment
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance
• Must be able to lift or move up to 100 lbs occasionally
