About the role
Greystar is a leading real estate platform managing and operating over $300 billion of real estate in more than 265 markets globally. The Maintenance Technician at Arvada Station is responsible for completing assigned work orders, preventative maintenance, and supporting cost-cutting initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Prepares vacant apartment homes for leasing and new move-ins by completing the make-ready process.
- Accesses and returns materials, supplies, and equipment according to established procedures.
- Documents service requests and other paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities by performing tasks such as picking up trash, pressure washing, and painting.
- Supports cost-cutting programs by fixing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.
Other Responsibilities
- Complies with safety and risk management policies by attending safety meetings, completing required training, and reporting incidents promptly.
- Periodically inspects work performed by contractors and vendors to ensure quality standards are met.
Physical Demands
- Standing, walking, sitting for extended periods.
- Bending, stooping, climbing ladders, reaching, carrying objects, and crawling in confined areas.
- Working inside and outside in all weather conditions.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, or maneuvering weights up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.
- Rare or regular travel to assist other properties, attend training classes, or business meetings.
- Flexible work schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Licenses or Certifications
- EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling (for Certified Service Technicians).
- All certifications required by State and Local jurisdictions (for all Service Technicians).
- Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property (if applicable).
Pay
The hourly range for this role is $22 - $23. Additional compensation includes a quarterly or annual bonus program, and various benefits such as medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, paid time off, housing discounts, sabbaticals, 401(k) with company match, parental leave, fertility benefit reimbursement, and an employee assistance program.
