Maintenance Technician - Andrews, SC

About the Role

Agru America, Inc., a global leader in plastics and geosynthetics manufacturing for over 70 years, is seeking motivated individuals to join our growing team in Georgetown, South Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on all equipment as directed.
• Assists in a variety of maintenance activities including but not limited to: machine repair, installation of new equipment, building walkways, cleaning, and painting.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED (required).
• Completed Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in manufacturing, engineering, electrical technology, or other related area (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in an industrial setting performing machine maintenance (preferred).
• Ability to troubleshoot and multitask.
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Must be a reliable and trustworthy team player.
• Must be able to frequently lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in a non-controlled environment.
