Maintenance Technician
The Maintenance Technician performs various maintenance duties necessary to maintain and enhance the value of the community. This individual is part of the Maintenance Team that manages all aspects of Resort maintenance and repairs.
Responsibilities
- Prepares or assists in preparing all sites are ready for occupancy.
- Performs various community maintenance functions such as tile work, flooring work, filter changes, painting, lock repairs, install/repair window coverings, pool maintenance, minor HVAC maintenance, preventive maintenance, landscape maintenance, electrical, plumbing, etc.
- Responds to Resort service requests and concerns in a timely manner.
- Performs emergency service, as required.
- Reports any maintenance concerns to the Maintenance Supervisor.
- Maintains open communication with Community/Resort management.
- Always Represents Company in a professional manner, on or off Community/Resort.
- Assists other staff members as needed.
- Drives motorized vehicle on or off Community/Resort for company business.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School or GED
- Minimum Experience: 1 Year
- Minimum Field-of-Expertise: General maintenance experience
- Preferred Field-of-Expertise: Plumbing, electrical, painting experience, tile & flooring, HVAC, PM's, carpentry
- Must be able to work outside in all conditions
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
- Valid driver’s license along with a good driving record
