About the role
We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Maintenance Technician to support equipment, facilities, and production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for performing both preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on machinery and building systems. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical ability, experience across multiple trades, and is comfortable troubleshooting in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs on production equipment
- Complete maintenance work orders, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry tasks
- Assist with installation, setup, and start-up of new equipment
- Maintain building systems and facilities, including snow removal when needed
- Troubleshoot equipment and respond to production issues across shifts
- Support process improvement initiatives and contribute to operational efficiency
- Follow and promote all safety procedures and participate in safety initiatives
- Maintain organized work areas and documentation related to maintenance activities
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of maintenance experience in manufacturing or facilities environments
- Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience across multiple trades
- Knowledge of basic electrical systems and pneumatic controls
- Experience with construction trades such as framing, plumbing, or electrical work preferred
- Ability to operate equipment such as forklifts, lifts, and boom lifts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Awareness of environmental and safety regulations preferred
- Must have a clean driver’s license
- Must have steel-toed boots
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable standing, walking, and performing physical tasks throughout the shift
- Ability to work at heights up to approximately 30 feet
- Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and safety footwear
Pay
$20–$25 per hour, based on experience
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM – 11:00 AM
- Overtime available as needed
