Maintenance Technician - 5th shift - Fri, Sat & Sun, 6:30pm-6:30am

Responsibilities

• Respond safely and efficiently to maintenance and repair needs for equipment and machinery.
• Ensure safety is always the number one priority; promote and support a safe work environment and safety-oriented culture by following all safety programs and guidelines.
• Conduct all processes and procedures in accordance with department guidelines.
• Coordinate and schedule repairs needed on equipment with the area supervisor.
• Communicate the repair schedule of equipment with all affected employees in the specific work area.
• Troubleshoot, plan, and execute repairs.
• Locate, identify, and prepare parts listed to complete repairs.
• Provide support and training to less experienced team members when appropriate.
• Write detailed preventative maintenance procedures and develop preventative maintenance schedules.
• Document all repairs thoroughly.
• Follow all safety programs and policies.
• Keep work area clean and orderly using the 5S system (standardize, sustain, sort, set in order, and shine).
• Act as “emergency coordinator” for the maintenance team—respond immediately to any workplace accidents to tend to the tools and equipment involved.

Pay

The anticipated pay range for this position is $23.00 - $37.99 hourly. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
