About the role

AIR Communities is hiring a Maintenance Technician at Villas at Towngate, a 394-unit luxury community in Moreno Valley.

Responsibilities

  • Earn $23–$25/hour + up to $3,000/year in customer service bonuses + a 50% rent discount at any of our communities + a part of our monthly pooled renewal commission plan!
  • Deliver high-quality service to residents while contributing to a dependable, team-first maintenance operation.
  • Complete apartment turns efficiently and professionally to meet move-in deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Diagnose and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances with minimal supervision.
  • Handle service requests with a focus on first-time fixes and strong resident satisfaction.
  • Support and share knowledge with newer technicians when appropriate.
  • Cookordination with vendors and ensure outside work meets quality standards.
  • Perform move-in and move-out inspections as needed.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of maintenance experience in apartments, facilities, hotels, or skilled trades.
  • Hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or appliances.
  • Ability to diagnose and complete repairs independently.
  • Strong work ethic and reliability (we value long-term team members).
  • Customer service mindset with good communication skills.
  • EPA certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
