Maintenance Technician - 50% Rent Discount

About the role

AIR Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team at our apartment community in Jacksonville, FL. This role utilizes industry-leading technology to efficiently manage maintenance tasks and enhance the resident experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist team members.
• Complete apartment turns to ensure move-in readiness.
• Resolve resident requested repairs and perform routine maintenance.
• Assist with move-in/move-out inspections.
• May provide technical direction and training to other Maintenance Technicians.
• Manage vendor quality as needed.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a similar environment.
• Proficient skills in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Able to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable mode of transportation for emergency service requests.
• Physical ability to move heavy equipment and machinery.
• Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and Schedule

The expected pay rate for the position is $19 to $23 per hour. Monthly bonuses are also available for exceptional customer service performance. A 50% rent discount is offered at any AIR Community upon successful completion of a rental application. Flexible scheduling options are available, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
