The Basics
Location: 1113 Maryland Avenue, Sheboygan, WI
Shift: 3rd Shift; Monday - Thursday 8:30PM - 6:30AM
Overtime available, but not required.
Pay: Minimum starting rate $32 per hour, includes a $2.00/hr shift premium. Additional compensation based on experience and/or education.
$5,000 Sign-on Bonus: Three payouts over the first year of employment.
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt.
What You’ll Do
- Make repairs to operations equipment in a timely manner through root cause analysis.
- Complete machine enhancement projects.
- Work closely with process improvement engineers to drive standardized work, reduce scrap, and increase throughput.
- Utilize maintenance software to track all team members' work progress and materials to ensure timely completion of work orders and employee performance accountability.
- Work with Process Support Group to identify and document major equipment-related issues and establish an organized plan to implement corrective action.
- Troubleshoot and repair all machinery and process-related deficiencies using electrical/mechanical skills. This includes performing general maintenance duties for all facility-related equipment.

What We’re Looking For (Required)
- A minimum of 5 years maintenance experience within a manufacturing setting required.
- In lieu of 5 years of experience, candidates actively pursuing education or training in the maintenance field may be considered.
- Candidate may be required to enroll in a trade apprenticeship.
- Working knowledge of TPM, preventative/predictive maintenance, operator basic care, and equipment efficiency metrics and measures.
- Electrical, mechanical, machine rigging, light fabrication, power transmission, bearings, lubrication, pneumatic.
- Working knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, equipment manuals, and technical documentation.
- Strong leadership, verbal, written, analytical, mathematical, reasoning, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions including bending, reaching, grabbing, and twisting.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Ability to successfully complete a physical examination and pre-employment drug screen (required upon conditional job offer).
Bonus Points If You Have
- Journeyman card or 10+ years maintenance experience preferred.
- Proficiency with PCs, including the Microsoft Office family, is preferred.
- PC / PLC control systems is preferred.
- Working knowledge of paper/nonwovens converting, slitting, winding, filling, packaging, sealing, conveying, and associated equipment is preferred.
