Essential Functions
- Aids in moving, setting up, and leveling machines
- Performs daily equipment preventative maintenance
- Ensures machines are lubricated and operational, installs guards as necessary
- Troubleshoots mechanical/electrical malfunctions/breakdowns; supports repair work, may involve coordination with outside vendors
- Uses maintenance equipment (such as saws, grinders, CNC mills, and lathes) to perform machining duties as needed
- Communicates with and utilizes outside services and support to troubleshoot problems, provide project and maintenance assistance, and offer technical resources
- Performs a wide range of general building and equipment maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, sheet metal, and fabrication design, and sheet metal repair work
- Creates and coordinates change orders (CO’s) in support of the preventative maintenance and calibration system; follows up and tracks
- Adheres to the company Code of Conduct, AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
- Ensures compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, through completion of introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to the role
- Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Ability to use maintenance equipment (such as saws, grinders, CNC mills, and lathes) to perform machining duties as needed
- General knowledge of predictive and preventative maintenance processes
- Minimum of 1 - 2 years of related experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- General working knowledge of industrial electronics and controls, including but not limited to relay logic and controls, automation interlocking, machine control circuits, sensors, switches, timers, wiring and ladder diagrams, sequencers, variable speed motor drives, servo controls, etc.
- Ability to operate and obtain a forklift driver's license
