Core Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machines and manufacturing equipment.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and equipment documentation.
- Utilize PLC troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve equipment faults.
- Document maintenance activities, repairs, and work orders within the CMMS system.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to support manufacturing goals.
- Identify opportunities for equipment reliability improvements and process optimization.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe, organized work environment.
- Respond quickly and effectively to unplanned equipment downtime to minimize production disruptions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in machining equipment maintenance.
- Experience maintaining and repairing CNC mills and related equipment.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, schematics, and electrical components.
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Familiarity with CMMS platforms and maintenance documentation.
- Technical certification or vocational training in Industrial Maintenance, Machining, or a related field preferred.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance.
