Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

Essential Functions

• Complete periodical and incidental machine maintenance in an accurate and timely manner.
• Perform preventive maintenance as outlined on preventative maintenance schedules of equipment manufacturer’s recommendations.
• Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction.
• Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner.
• Aid in the purchase of maintenance supplies and equipment parts as required or directed.

Close Out Work Orders

Maintain regular attendance.

Other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• An associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience is required.
• Experience with PLCs is preferred.
• Experience with 480-volt electric systems is preferred.
• Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, fluid power, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Familiarity with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley CNC controls is preferred.
• Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements such as OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC, and other state/local organizations.
• Machining and welding capabilities are required.
• Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, are required.
