Essential Functions
- Complete periodical and incidental machine maintenance in an accurate and timely manner.
- Perform preventive maintenance as outlined on preventative maintenance schedules of equipment manufacturer’s recommendations.
- Plan and implement corrective action in conjunction with management direction.
- Comply with all safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain building, equipment, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner.
- Aid in the purchase of maintenance supplies and equipment parts as required or directed.
Close Out Work Orders
Maintain regular attendance.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Training
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- An associate’s degree in industrial maintenance or a related field is preferred.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 2 years of maintenance experience is required.
- Experience with PLCs is preferred.
- Experience with 480-volt electric systems is preferred.
- Proficient in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical, electronic, fluid power, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Familiarity with Siemens and/or Allen Bradley CNC controls is preferred.
- Familiarity with applicable regulatory requirements such as OSHA, EPA, NFPA, NEC, and other state/local organizations.
- Machining and welding capabilities are required.
- Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, are required.
Physical Demands
- Frequent lifting, bending, twisting.
- Standing for long periods of time.
