Maintenance Technician - 3rd Shift

About the role

We are recruiting for a motivated and passionate Maintenance Technician on 3rd Shift to install and maintain machinery and equipment in an industrial establishment.

Schedule

Monday - Friday (5 days × 8 hours), 9:30 PM - 5:30 AM

Pay

Sign-on bonus: $4,000

Responsibilities

• Safe operation of machines and tools
• Live and promote the Ariens Core Values and 15 Principles
• Read blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
• Dismantle machines
• Move machinery and equipment
• Assemble and install equipment such as shafting, conveyors, and tram rails
• Align machines and equipment
• Assemble machines, and bolt, weld, and rivet or otherwise fasten them to structures
• Repair and lubricate machines and equipment
• Complete preventative and total productive maintenance

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Minimum two years industry experience and/or training
• Strong language, mathematical, reasoning, and computer skills
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Able to frequently walk, sit, and use hands to handle or feel
• Able to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally
• Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
