Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, vacuum, and control system issues.
- Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and restore equipment to service safely and efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Technical school, industrial maintenance certification, military technical training, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience with printing, packaging, converting, or related manufacturing equipment is beneficial.
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn are encouraged.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude.
- Basic understanding of industrial electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, including motors, relays, contactors, sensors, VFDs, control circuits, and the ability to read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Ability to prioritize tasks while maintaining a focus on safety and production.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively with all departments.
Safety Responsibilities
- Follow all OSHA, company, and plant safety requirements.
- Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and Arc Flash procedures.
- Maintain machine guarding and safety devices.
- Report unsafe conditions and near misses immediately.
- Participate in safety training and continuous improvement activities.
- Wear required PPE and promote a safe work environment.
