Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

About the Role

This position requires 2-5 years’ work experience with industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment and tolerate working in cold, wet, and humid conditions while adhering to all safety, attendance, GMP, and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Use hand and power tools proficiently.
• Apply working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial electrical systems.
• Read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Perform basic mathematical functions.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills.
• Perform predictive and preventative maintenance.
• Provide feedback for PM improvement.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production.
• Understand communications about equipment failures, troubleshoot problems, and make repairs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a maintenance department.
• Excellent knowledge of maintenance and operation principles, policies, practices, and strategies.
• Thorough working knowledge of PLC (programmable logic controller), pneumatic operated systems, single-phase and three-phase motors, and all aspects of conveyor feeding and packaging.
• Experience using computer-based reactionary, preventive, and predictive maintenance software systems (Limble ERP preferred).
• Experience in the food industry is strongly preferred.
• Experience with patty formers, grinders, and packaging is preferred.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Good computer skills, including Excel, Word, and Office 365.
