About the Role

This position requires 2-5 years of work experience with industrial maintenance. The ideal candidate will be proficient in using hand and power tools, with working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and industrial electrical systems. Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics, perform basic mathematical functions, and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills is essential. The role involves predictive and preventative maintenance, as well as providing feedback for PM improvement. Candidates must be able to work in a cold, wet, and humid environment while adhering to all safety, attendance, GMP, and HR policies. A self-starter who can work effectively in a team environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to improve production.
  • Understand communications about equipment failures, troubleshoot problems, and make repairs.
  • Perform predictive and preventative maintenance tasks.
  • Provide feedback for PM improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a maintenance department.
  • Excellent knowledge of maintenance and operation principles, policies, practices, and strategies.
  • Thorough working knowledge of PLC (programmable logic controller), pneumatic operated systems, single-phase and three-phase motors, and all aspects of conveyor feeding and packaging.
  • Experience using computer-based reactionary, preventive, and predictive maintenance software systems (Limble ERP preferred).
  • Experience in the food industry is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with patty formers, grinders, and packaging is preferred.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Good computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and Office 365.
