Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

About the role

As a Maintenance Technician, you support facility reliability and production efficiency through preventive maintenance, equipment repair, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and utility systems
• Conducts inspections and preventive maintenance
• Fabricates and welds components
• Responds to equipment issues to minimize downtime
• Maintains accurate maintenance records
• Develops job plans and procedures
• Coordinates with vendors
• Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory standards
• Supports facility upkeep, grounds maintenance, and snow removal
• Operates forklifts and lift equipment

Requirements

• Minimum of two (2) years of related mechanical or electrical experience and/or training
• Manufacturing industry experience required
• Good math skills
• Good problem‑solving skills
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office and CMMS
• Good electrical concepts (proper use of test equipment; schematic symbol & diagram comprehension, wiring, etc.)
• Good mechanical knowledge (machine guarding
