Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

Responsibilities

• Record parts and materials used, record repairs and maintenance performed.
• Inventorize kept and manage all spare parts (including pricing).
• Will insource parts as needed based on inventory levels.
• General upkeep of Maintenance Department.
• Clean, lubricate, adjust parts, equipment, and machinery.
• Disassemble machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examine parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
• Observe and test the operation of machinery and equipment to diagnose malfunctions.
• Operate newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
• Repair and maintain the operating condition of industrial production and processing machinery and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED or 1-2 years of previous machine maintenance experience, electrical helpful.
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and schematics.
• Sufficient reading level to understand written requirements/instructions.
• Sufficient physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs. occasionally, stand for up to 8 hours, use of hands.

• Above average understanding of basic computer principles (Microsoft Excel, Word) to properly enter quality control information, and inventory information.
