Maintenance Technician - 2nd shift

Our Fort Recovery Egg Division in Mercer County, Ohio, provides quality table and liquid eggs to consumers near and far. Cooper Farms is currently seeking a 2nd shift Maintenance Technician to join our Central Egg Processing location in Coldwater.

Shift & pay

• Shift hours: Monday through Friday 3:30pm-12:00am
• Starting hourly rate: $20.00-$32.00+ (dependent upon experience) with a potential increase after 90 days
• $3,000 sign-on bonus (paid as $1,000 at thirty days, $1,000 at sixty days and $1,000 at six months; rehires qualify a year after termination)
• Additional pay: Monthly and year-end profit-sharing bonuses (dependent upon company performance)

Job functions

• Maintaining and repairing all plant production and mechanical systems in a timely, efficient, and precise manner, while maximizing production operation
• Properly and legibly completing required documentation including but not limited to: PM's, PSM, work orders, etcetera
• Utilizing I-Maintenance program to ensure the preventative maintenance program is followed and kept up to date

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Minimum of two years maintenance experience is required
• Must have strong mechanical skills as well as written and verbal communication skills
• A two-year vocational degree in maintenance is preferred
• Maintenance experience on Egg Processing Machinery is strongly preferred
• Electrical knowledge of 480/240/120, control circuits and basic computer knowledge is preferred
