Maintenance Technician, 2nd shift (Onsite-4:30pm-3:00am)
Clampco Products, Inc., an Employee-Owned manufacturer of heavy-duty, stainless-steel clamps and couplings, has a new opening for an experienced maintenance technician due to an upcoming retirement. The position is responsible for:
- Perform maintenance activities supporting production operations
- Ensure all equipment in use is operating safely and efficiently through coordination and clear communication with maintenance crew on opposite shift
- Cook with production on downtime repair estimates
- Performs electrical installation/repair on outlets, lights, fans, and other building fixtures; run conduit, cabling and wires for electrical hook-up for machinery
- Diagnostics problems, replace, or repair parts, test and adjust machinery and equipment
- Performs repairs to electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, single and three phase controls, PLCs mechanical troubleshooting and repair of production machines
- Work with test equipment and electrical troubleshooting up to 480v
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, to perform required mechanical adjustments and repairs
- Work with the engineering group on installation and debugging new automated machinery
- Demonstrate safe working behaviors including lock/tag out procedures, use of PPE, and safe operation of high-lift and other mobile equipment operation
- Additional daily maintenance functions were needed
Requirements of the Position / Experience
- Associate degree or apprenticeship in maintenance technology or similar referred
- High School or G.E.D.
- Additional trade or certifications will be considered
- 3+ years of electrical/mechanical maintenance experience in manufacturing in necessary
- 3+ years working in a metal stamping/forging/forming environment highly desired
- Experience with electrical, theory, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and motor controls
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide variety of industrial equipment using schematic diagrams and manuals as guide
- Ability to work in a team for best results through problem-solving and effective communication
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
- Must be able to work Monday -Thursday, 10-hour shift to support production operations

Work Environment
- Monday -Thursday, 4:30p-3:00a, onsite
- Ability to walk, navigate stairs, ladders, use PPE and follow all safety standards
- Lift up to 50# with or without accommodation, physical demand is heavy
- May assist other departments when needed in a manufacturing setting
Pay & Benefits
- $25-$31/hourly base rate + $1.00/ hour shift differential and bonus potential to commensurate with experience
