Key Responsibilities Diagnose and perform general maintenance and repair of:Structural and building fabricElectrical (high and low voltage, single phase, and three phase)Plumbing (leaks, clogs, faucets, toilets, drains)Perform first-level quality checks on HVAC, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical systemsComplete and document work orders and preventive maintenance tasks using the Redzone Reliability ModuleAdvise the Maintenance Manager of identified issues and improvement opportunitiesAssist with minor construction projects and facility upgradesConduct audits related to preventative maintenanceMonitor and respond to building safety and security concernsCoordinate and oversee on-site vendors and contractorsMaintain accurate documentation of inspections, repairs, and issuesOrganize storage of materials, tools, and equipmentManage and order maintenance inventory and suppliesEnsure all maintenance activities comply with company policies, OSHA standards, MIOSHA regulations, and local building codes Requirements Education / Certificates / Licenses / Experience High School Diploma or GED requiredValid Drivers License3-5 years of hands-on facility maintenance experience requiredEPA certification, HVAC/R experience preferredWelding experience preferred Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Ability to troubleshoot high, low, and control voltage systemsStrong written communication skillsProficiency using an iPad and email systemsStrong organizational skills with attention to detailEffective time management and task prioritizationAnalytical and problem-solving capabilitiesKnowledge of food manufacturing sanitary design preferredKnowledge of OSHA and MIOSHA regulations preferredWillingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and respond to emergencies as needed Equivalent combinations of education and experience that demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered on an individual basis.
