Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift

About the role
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our production machinery to minimize downtime and optimize efficiency. You will work closely with our production team to troubleshoot issues, perform preventive maintenance tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on production equipment such as conveyors, mixers, ovens, and packaging machinery.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Conduct preventive maintenance inspections and tasks according to established schedules to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
- Collaborate with production operators to identify potential equipment issues and address them proactively to prevent production delays.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance to support maintenance planning and scheduling.
- Participate in equipment installations, upgrades, and modifications as needed to support production requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to food manufacturing equipment.
- Apply carpentry and plumbing techniques, including installation, repair, and maintenance, to support facility upkeep and improvement projects.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of equivalent experience and training as a maintenance mechanic in a food manufacturing or similar industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.

Pay
$28.00 to $35.00 per hour.
Schedule
2nd Shift - Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM until 12:00 AM, with mandatory overtime as daily schedule requires.
Note: This role follows a no facial hair policy and no jewelry policy for all production, maintenance, and warehouse positions.
