General Responsibilities

  • Maintain and oversee equipment including production machines, and other production related equipment and tools to ensure they are well maintained and in good operating conditions.
  • Heavily involved in trouble shooting day-to-day issues related to production and project installations.
  • Performing routine maintenance within and around the facility.
  • Plan and perform preventative scheduled maintenance to maintain production equipment, utility, and tools.
  • Analyze downtimes and implement countermeasure or action plan to prevent from recurrence.
  • Aid production department in maintaining adequate reliability and up-time.
  • Work closely with colleagues to implement continuous improvement throughout the production plant.
  • Aid production in implementing corrective actions in a timely manner, if associated with equipment modifications or facilities issues.
  • Aid production to improve process, methods, equipment and materials.
  • Control all spare parts to be able to maintain and repair equipment when necessary.
  • Control costs related to maintaining equipment and facility.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma equivalent.
  • Demonstrated insight into mechanical and process analysis.
  • Ability to communicate in both verbal and written matters.
  • Ability to work overtime and any schedule that management deems necessary to maintain production.

Preferred Qualifications

  • An associate degree in Engineering/Industrial Technology or related field.
  • Computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Electrical repairs, PLC experience with electrical schematic and ladder drawing reading.
  • 5-15 years related experience and training in industrial process machinery, repairs and installations (certifications, etc.).
  • Basic experience with welding, machining, and fabrication.
