Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift - $4,000 Sign-On Bonus

About the Role

Perform highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment according to diagrams, sketches, operational manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. Also perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of a Maintenance Technician’s job, working collaboratively as part of a team.
• Follow direction from area supervision promptly and reliably.
• Read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents required for the role.
• Attend and complete specialized training to perform repairs and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of equipment and machine tools.
• Develop efficiency with mechanical equipment and continuously learn all aspects of the job.
• Maintain a productive and non-disruptive work ethic while adhering to all company safety rules and policies.
• Keep company equipment and work areas clean and orderly.
• Provide proper tooling and equipment to fulfill job requirements.
• Strive for continuous improvement in all job-related tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Demonstrated experience as a maintenance technician.
• Strong understanding of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Experience operating a variety of equipment, including snow blowers, lawn mowers, and small hand tools.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Ability to read blueprints and other technical documents.
• Proficient mechanical skills.

Physical Requirements

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
• Frequently required to talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch.
• Work indoors in a shop environment and outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and/or push up to 50 lbs.
