Maintenance Technician- 2nd Shift (2:00PM-10:30PM)

Requirements

• Maintain, trouble shoot, & support & repair of all production equipment & supporting equipment, e.g., air compressor, coolers, turbine, & material storage tanks.
• Determine materials, parts, & equipment to be used for repair, installation & stock.
• Cookordinate & participate in scheduled & unscheduled preventive maintenance on all production & supporting equipment.
• Install, inspect, repair, & maintain the mechanical, electrical & other related systems in all production & supporting departments.
• Able to inspect, operate & maintain heating, cooling, ventilation system, & water treatment devices for the entire plant.
• Cookordinate with the supervisor scheduled & unscheduled work on the mechanical, electrical & other related systems throughout the entire plant.
• Complete all necessary documentation as described under company guidelines.
• Must perform all work in a safe & efficient manner, as assigned per shift.
• Able to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, & maintain the mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, & other related systems of all production & supporting department equipment in a safe & secure manner.
• Able to meet & deal tactfully & courteously with fellow employees, vendors, & contractors.
• Must be able to read & understand complex written & oral instructions.
• Must be able to read & troubleshoot electrical schematics.
• Able to program temperature controllers, Honeywell controllers, AC inverters, & DC controllers.
• Thorough understanding & knowledge of the occupation hazards & corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience

• 4-5 years’ related experience &/or training; or equivalent combination of education & experience.
• Must be able to fabricate & sanitary weld.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills.
• Solid knowledge of safety regulations & procedures.
• Must be flexible in daily schedule & willing to work overtime also during emergency situations.
• Will interact with multiple departments within the organization.
• Desired Knowledge of general manufacturing environment & practices.
