Maintenance Technician 2nd & 3rd Shift

About the role

Metal Technologies is a premier metal casting company established in 1997. We are a privately held, family-owned business that specializes in producing high-quality gray iron, ductile iron, austempered ductile, and value-added machining for various industries.

Responsibilities

• Works safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by wearing appropriate safety equipment and following safe work practices.
• Design, install, program, build & rebuild advanced electronic circuitry.
• Troubleshoot, maintain and repair foundry related electrical and electronic systems (relay logic, PLC, Computer, & Microprocessor).
• Perform mechanical maintenance duties including hydraulic, plumbing, pneumatic, metal fabricating, welding, and equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repairs.
• Use various tools and operate machinery such as forklifts, skid steer loaders, scissor lifts, articulating boom lifts, ladders, scaffolds, drill presses, grinders, band saws, hack saws, and other maintenance-related tools.
• Read, comprehend, and understand electrical and mechanical schematics, diagrams, blueprint reading, and manuals.
• Work in confined spaces following the Company’s Confined Space Program.
• Work at elevated levels using ladders, scaffolds, scissor lifts, boom lifts, etc.

Requirements

• Five years electrical maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment preferred.

Qualifications

Must have a valid driver's license and be able to pass a drug test.

Pay

$37.53 per hour

Schedule

Second shift: 2:00pm-10:00pm
Third shift: 10:00pm-6:00am
