Maintenance Technician - 2nd / 3rd Shift

Join Envalior – Imagine The Future! We are currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team on the 2nd or 3rd Shift at our Gastonia, North Carolina facility. At Envalior, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to maintaining and optimizing the operation of our state-of-the-art production equipment in a fast-paced environment. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a critical role in ensuring equipment reliability, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with operations and engineering teams to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, contributing to Envalior's mission of delivering innovative, high-performance materials.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, and other rotating machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical issues and execute timely corrective actions.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Conduct welding, rigging, and safely operate hand and power tools.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Use basic computer skills for work order management and communication.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
• Technical education or vocational training in mechanics, mechatronics, or related fields preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• Experience with welding, rigging, and safe operation of hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Basic computer skills for work order management and communication.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work effectively on the 2nd AND/OR 3rd shift schedule.
• Must reside within daily commuting distance of the Gastonia, North Carolina facility.
