Maintenance Technician (1st Shift)

Responsibilities

• Coordinating and supervising maintenance tasks performed on facilities and equipment.
• Performing complex building repairs using various technical skills (i.e., carpentry, electrical, and plumbing).
• Maintaining preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Directing work and supervising vendors/technicians who repair and maintain equipment and/or systems.
• Conducting weekly and monthly building inspections to identify needed repairs and safety hazards.
• Functions as a team member within the department and organization, as required, and performing any duty assigned to best serve the company.
• Performing a wide variety of repairs throughout the facility including plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry.
• Ensuring proper upkeep and preventative maintenance of all buildings, materials, and systems.
• Scheduling, directing, and ensuring satisfactory completion of work performed by vendors.
• Scheduling and facilitating vendor testing of emergency generator, sprinkler system alarms, and other systems.
• Recording data from main electrical panels on a quarterly basis.
• Inspecting various equipment and building areas, including, but not limited to, air compressors, roof and roof-mounted equipment, and sprinkler systems; recording data from inspections.
• Providing support with conference room set-up for meetings, caterings, and events.
• Ensuring receipt and accountability for all deliveries including Federal Express, office supplies, and postal service.
• Maintaining positive interactions with associates at all levels of the organization in providing outstanding service and support.

Requirements

• Required Education: High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Experience Required: 2 Years Previous maintenance or operations experience.
• Strong communication skills to interact with internal customers and external vendors.
• Demonstrated proficiency with computer systems to record and track data.
• Ability to push, pull, and lift 75 lbs.
