Maintenance Technician - 1st shift - $33.26 - $38.56

Responsibilities

• Respond to production floor maintenance calls from machine operators as needed
• Perform maintenance tasks to ensure continuous production
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all equipment and machinery as needed
• Read blueprints, instruction manuals, and mechanical drawings
• Rework and rebuild mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Perform electrical troubleshooting on all plant equipment and machinery
• Set-up and operate all types of production equipment and machine tools such as lathes, mills, and welders
• Follow all aspects of the lock out/tag out program
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• A High School Diploma or GED
• 3-5 years of mechanical/electrical technician experience
• Fluency in English & Spanish preferred
• Experience in food manufacturing preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite in addition to knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures
• Fork-lift operation experience preferred
