Maintenance Technician - 1st & 2nd Shifts (Chardon, Ohio)

About the role

QP Manufacturing, a leading production center in Northeast Ohio, is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to join our team. We specialize in producing high-precision components and assemblies through turning, milling, multi-axis mill turning, and other cutting-edge manufacturing processes. This role focuses on electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine and resolve problems on various machines, including CNC and ACME equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical or mechanical issues on a variety of machines.
• Dismantle, adjust, repair, and assemble equipment according to blueprints, operating, or repair manuals.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and ensure equipment is well-maintained.
• Ensure all operations are performed safely, following standard operating procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to learn and take direction.
• 2 years or more experience in industrial machine repair required.
• Comfortable working with your hands and standing for long periods of time.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
• Reliable transportation to the Chardon, Ohio location.

Preferred Qualifications

• Maintenance experience with similar machines or experience in a similar role.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift.
• Lift up to 30 lbs.

Schedule

• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
• Overtime may be available depending on production demands.
