Maintenance Technician - 12 Hr Night Shift

We are responsible for the production of many base products in smoke flavoring needs for Kerry customers and brands. This site is one of five Smoke Flavoring Facilities within the Kerry organization!
Shift Information
Night shift 6pm-6am, 2-2-3 rotating schedule
What you'll do
As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, and good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. What you'll need to be successful
- Certification of Vocational School, Journeyman card in Millwright or Maintenance Technician preferred.
- 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing within a maintenance related position preferred.
- Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following:
- Sterling Steel Welding/Fabrication
- Piping systems
- PLC’s (Programmable logic controllers) – a plus
- Process equipment
Important areas of operations
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery
- Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, pumps, mechanical seals and other related equipment
- Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26 - $37 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate within the above range may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
