Maintenance Technician - 12 Hr Night Shift

About the role

The shift will be a rotating schedule with hours from 5:45pm - 6:15am. Schedule 2-2-3 Training will be on Day Shift for at least first 2 - 3 months.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion.
• Follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of General Maintenance Experience.
• 3+ years of Automation Controls Experience.
• Experience working in a manufacturing environment & food/beverage experience is highly preferred.
• High school diploma or GED is required; associated degree in relevant field preferred.
• Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following: Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication, Ability to be or become or is a Sanitary Certified welder. (outside certification), Piping systems, Electricity, PLC’s (Programmable logic controllers) – a plus, Process control instrumentation, HVAC systems, Process equipment, Personal Computing.

Qualifications

• Basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following: Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication, Ability to be or become or is a Sanitary Certified welder. (outside certification), Piping systems, Electricity, PLC’s (Programmable logic controllers) – a plus, Process control instrumentation, HVAC systems, Process equipment, Personal Computing.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00 per hour. Kerry typically does not hire an individual at the top or near the top of the range, as we are a pay-for-performance company, and this range is set to continue to reward performance annually while in role.
