The Maintenance Technician / Machinist provides technical support to ensure all production equipment operates safely and efficiently. This role combines industrial equipment maintenance with precision machine shop activities, focusing on manufacturing and maintaining tooling to support high-quality polymer extrusion processes.

• Maintain and repair machinery and equipment in the polymer extrusion facility.
• Perform precision machining tasks to manufacture and maintain tooling.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards.
• Document work performed and report findings to supervisors.
• Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on new technologies and best practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance or related field.
• Proficiency in using various hand tools and power tools.
• Experience with precision machining and metalworking techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Completion of relevant vocational training or certification in industrial maintenance or machining.
• Knowledge of polymer extrusion processes and materials.
• Experience with polymer processing equipment and machinery.
